It’s been weeks after the MMA’s and Nasty C have been
receiving all sorts of critiques on the awards he won. Many people have been
having unsettling comments that Nast C did not deserve some if not all of the
awards he won and that his record label allegedly bought some of the awards.
This didn't seem to bother the 20 year old rapper until Dr Malinga went on a
social media platform and called him a 'Pawn Shop’.
Dr Malinga's tweet |
Earlier that week Dr Malinga responded to himself losing
the Song of the year award as nominated, by claiming that Nasty was a 'pawn shop' that
keeps things that didn't belong to him. Certainly this was meant so say that
Nasty did kept awards he did not deserve.
Well Nasty C was caught on one of his best days as he
posted a video on his instagram account responding to Dr Malinga and simply
phasing out some of his achievements. The rapper did not specifically mention
Dr Malinga's identity but the references of his hater's 'green short up to his
man boobs' on the video made it clear he was referring to him. Here is the
video:

AMANDA "BLACK"
THE STORY BEHIND THE STAGE NAME
Amanda Antonia Benedicta |
Amanda Antony Benedicta is a South African singer and
guitarist who dropped her first single Amazulu in 2016 summer. The singer was
once an SA idol contender and was eliminated shortly before the top 5 in 2015.
Amanda was signed to a record label Ambitious Entertainment found by Kgosi
Mahumapelo and then decided on the stage name Amanda Black.
Amanda's first hit single Amazulu |
Amanda said the story behind her stage name was that in
her young age she never tolerated being black. “I used to not like my dark skin
because everyone said light-skinned girls were prettier. I had
fair-complexioned friends and sometimes I’d be the darkest of them all. At
times, it affected how I felt about my looks,” Amanda opened up to DRUM
Magazine during an interview. Regardless of how she felt about her skin colour,
she still believed in her dream of becoming a singer and still worked hard
towards making it happen. Amanda said that she has learned that she had a hard
time coping with her identity due to not accepting herself as an African as she
would sometimes speak English with her family at home.
She said she started accepting who she is and
acknowledging her Xhosa culture after she read a book by Steve Biko titled Black Consciousness. The book gave her
the strength to appreciate herself in the way she is and the talent and
potential she has within her regardless of who she is and her skin colour.
Amanda recently won two awards at the 16th Metro FM
Awards. She walked away with Best R&B Single for her jam Separate and the
Listeners Choice Award.

Celeb relationships always catch our attention especially
when it is displayed to us. Well this kind of relationship does not only catch
our attention but also gives a lesson on how to keep our men, ladies! Pearl
Thusi and Robert Marawa have been in a relationship for almost a year now and Pearl
promised that their relationship is still going to last because she acts like a
side chick when she’s the main! Yep, that’s it, act like a side chick. This was
after she posted a selfie of her and his man, Robert , cuddling in bed and
receiving a comment from @Cassper Nyovest saying it was a side chick selfie.
Pearl took the comment to her advantage and responded, “I am the main but I act
like a side, that’s why it’s gonna last. Keep them busy”, to Cassper’s comment.
It must be working for her since her and Roberts slowly becoming open about their
relationships and even started posting pictures together.

the US, SWAY, where he rendered an impromptu freestyle for dj sway,
internationally. "It was dope man, it was really amazing. It was a new
experience, I've never been to America before so it was the first time and Sway
is one of the shows that keep us connected with regards to information about
hip hop in America. I constantly stream it and just watch interviews and
everything like that so to be on it was a real pleasure for me. I really
enjoyed every second of that’, Kwesta told the TimesLive of his experience. It
is good to see theses interactions as it brings hope and motivation to upcoming
